I’m a Dallas based programmer. Been working in the industry for a couple of years, and still want to make an indie game or 3 or 12. This is the story of me doing that.
Right now I’m catching up on the last few years of games so expect a lot of reviews and analysis of various games I come across and enjoy or am infuriated with while I try to figure out the current market and fill my gaming deficit. To make things more interesting my PC is a budget build and I’m running Linux. Usually Mint, but I change it up on occasion. This limits what is available, but also gives me a chance to comment on the quality of ports as well provide tips for other people who might find themselves in a similar situation.
Since I’m fairly actively seeking out parts for my rig, I’ve also had the delight of doing business with many vendors and retailers and don’t shy away from sharing my opinions on them or the parts I’m buying from them. But it also gives me the chance to stumble upon other nifty things they sell.
